It is impossible to enter into a life of intercession until one has seen the heart of God. Intercession is prompted and sustained by the knowledge that God is full of mercy and slow to anger. Not only must one see God's heart, but he must share the heart of God in order to intercede effectively. It is possible to know God and still not share His heart.

Jonah is an example of this condition. In Jonah 4, we learn why he was so reluctant to go to Ninevah. God's message to this wicked city had brought the results which God had intended. They had repented, and God had relented.

Jonah was furious with God and argued, "O Lord, is this not what I said when I was still at home? That is why I was so quick to flee to Tarshish. I knew that you are a gracious and compassionate God, slow to anger and abounding in love, a God who relents from sending calamity" (4:2). He "knew" God, but he did not share God's attitude toward Ninevah.

Please keep each other lifted up in prayer. Serving God is not easy because the enemy knows who you and whose you are so he will not stop coming after you. But know that greater is He that is me than he that is in the world. God has given you power and authority over the enemy make sure you exercise that power in your life.

We are more than conquerors through Christ that strengthens us. Being a warrior is not an easy task. A warrior is those that in the midst of storms you are able to cease the moment and continue to move forward. Not all can be called warriors. The biblical warriors like the Apostle Paul and King David are prime examples of being a warrior. A warrior in not only a fighter but they are humble servants. That know how to choose their battles wisely. I admired King David that no matter how many people came against him he knew God will come to his rescue. When Saul saught to kill him, David could have turned against Saul but he decided to stay in the will of God. God said commit your ways unto Lord, trust the Lord, and He will cause your righteousness to shine like the dawn, and your justice like the noonday.Psalm 37 Apostle Paul was commited and dedicated to murder Christians;when God called him Paul turned that same energy of boldness to serve the Lord. I am commited to do the same. The same energy I had hustling and serving sin; I have commited to serving the Most High. I surrender my life to God and as is put I have a 'ride or die' attitude about it. God has kept me out of jail and my kids from being fatherless and motherless. I am very grateful to the point that I will not let anyone or anything stand in the way of my love for God. I will serve Him by any means necessary.

Amen!

Don't take on the storms of others.

There is a difference between taking on someone's storm and taking on someone's need. Someone may have a practical need, and may need your love and prayers. These are needs you can meet without taking on their storm. The kind of storm you must avoid-must run for your life from-is someone else's internal storm. Remember theses are the storms that people bring on by wrong thinking about themselves, their circumstance, and about God. These are the storms of bitterness, resentment, and rage. The Word says, "See to it that no...bitter root grows up to cause trouble and defile many (Hebrews 12:15)." In the midst of your external storm, do not let someone else's anger become your unforgiveness. Because then you have let the external storm get on the inside where it will ravage your soul.
